Description

The Citi Research Associate-Summer is available to junior and senior-level undergraduate students. You must be a U.S. citizen, have a minimum GPA of 3.5, possess excellent communication and writing skills, be proficient in Microsoft Office, and be an analytical thinker to be considered for this internship. Preference will be given to students majoring in mathematics, computer science, political science, economics, public policy, or finance. As an intern, you will learn a client's historical financing trends, research past uses of debt or derivatives and provide an overview of client's debt position, participate with bankers and clients in meetings/conference calls to review current market conditions and formulate future capital programs, assist in the execution of transactions, and present documentation and pricing to investors and rating agencies. You will assist in credit and internal approvals, policy compliance, client entertainment, and deal closing coordination, and research market, credit, tax, regulatory, accounting, legal, policy, and issuer-specific issues relating to prior or future transactions. This internship is located in Los Angeles, CA, and New York City, NY. Average monthly compensation for a Citi Group Intern is $6,600.
