Description
The Reid Park Zoo Animal Care College Internship is available to undergraduate students interested in zoology. You must be at least 18 years of age, have a minimum GPA of 3.5, be able to lift at least 50 pounds, be able to work in outdoor weather conditions, and possess strong communication skills to be considered for this internship. As an intern, you will help clean habitats and off-habitat areas, assist with routine maintenance, perform behavioral observations, assist with public presentations, observe some portion of vet rounds, and make and give enrichment, diet preparation, and feeding. This internship is located in Tucson, AZ, and is offered during the summer, fall, and spring.
