Reid Park Zoo Education and Program Evaluation College Internship

Description

The Reid Park Zoo Education and Program Evaluation College Internship is available to undergraduate students majoring in education who are interested in zoology. You must be at least 18 years of age, have a minimum GPA of 2.5, be able to lift at least 50 pounds, be able to work in outdoor weather conditions, and possess strong communication skills to be considered for this internship. Preference will be given to junior and senior-level applicants who have classroom or small animal handling experience. As an intern, you will evaluate guest interactions, assist in signage maintenance, monitor guest engagement in the Zoo, assist with and evaluate programs and public presentations, help teach and evaluate camp, learn class and time management, and handle and interpret education ambassador animals. This internship is located in Tucson, AZ, and is offered during the summer, fall, and spring.
