Description

The City of San Diego-Marketing, Communications, and Training Internship is available to students interested in learning about human resources within the public sector. As an intern, you will coordinate onboarding paperwork from prospective intern hires and forward it to the personnel department to expedite the hiring process, assist in the development of the volunteer department fiscal year presentations representing activity and costs related to volunteerism, schedule calendar events with department leaders and interns for project updates, support the facilitation and training of supervisors in intern hire procedures, act as the Zoom and Microsoft Teams facilitator for online events, and create an Intern Handbook and other onboarding forms for new hires. This internship is located in San Diego, CA.
