The Hoofstock Animal Care Internship is available to junior and senior-level undergraduate students and recent graduates of studies in wildlife management, conservation biology, or a related scientific discipline. You must hold a valid driver's license to be considered for this internship. Preference will be given to applicants with previous internship experience. As an intern, you will assist with feeding, observe animals and perform documentation, assist with cleaning, help with veterinary assistance when needed, perform maintenance duties, and will present a report on your topic of choice at the end of the internship to staff and management. On-site housing and a monthly stipend is available to interns. This internship is located in Glen Rose, TX, and is offered during the spring, summer, and fall semesters.
