ForestGEO Data Internship

Description

The ForestGEO Data Internship is open to students who are enrolled in a four-year college or university or recent college graduates. You must have a solid understanding of MS Office and demonstrate an interest in refining your knowledge of database management and international collaborations and partnerships in order to be considered for this internship. Interns will develop critical skills associated with data management, learn about the diversity and the ecology of tropical forests, develop understanding of biodiversity databases and research workflows, gain exposure to non-profit, international program by collaborating with STRI and global partners and assist in preparing a report on the conservation status of plants for the IUCN red list.
