For the 27th year, fast-food restaurant Carl's Jr, is offering the Carl N. & Margaret Karcher Founders' Scholarship for 10 class of 2025 seniors or high school graduates planning to attend college for the first time.

Apply for the Carl's Jr. Carl N. and Margaret Karcher Founders Scholarship

The Carl N. and Margaret Karcher Founders Scholarship is available to graduating high school seniors entering college. You must be 26 years of age or younger and reside in one of the 16 states where Carl's Jr. operates, and submit either a short video (30-90 seconds) or a 250-word written response telling us how higher education will help you pursue your passion to be eligible for this award. Deadline: 3/31/25
Award Amount: $10,000 There have been more than 1,000 Carl's Jr. Scholarship winners since 1998. Scholarship winners demonstrate leadership in their communities and extracurricular activities. Andrew Robinson, chief human resources officer of CKE Restaurants, said, "We take pride in our role in empowering students and team members, and we believe that education is the ultimate catalyst for unlocking their limitless potential."
Non-traditional students that haven't attended college, including first-generation college students, should also consider applying for this scholarship.

This scholarship is available to eligible students residing in a state where Carl's Jr. restaurants are.
There are more than 1,000 Carl's Jr. restaurants located in the following 16 states: • Alaska • Arizona • California • Colorado • Florida • Hawaii • Idaho • Nevada • New Mexico • Oklahoma • Oregon • Texas • Utah • Washington • Wyoming

Carl's Jr. Scholarship Eligibility

To apply for the scholarship, you must be/have: • An incoming freshman at an accredited college or university. • A full-time student. • 26 years old or younger. • A resident of one of the 14 states where Carl's Jr. Operates.

How to Apply for the Carl N. and Margaret Karcher Founders Scholarship

Eligible students can apply for the Carl's Junior Scholarship until March 31, 2025, and will need to provide the following in addition to their application: • 30-90 second video that shares what receiving the scholarship would mean to you, OR a 250-word (or less written) response that shares why you're pursuing higher education. • Contact information for someone who can submit a letter of recommendation on your behalf.
