Description

The City of Santa Barbara Economic Development Internship is available to students studying business administration, communications, public policy, or a related field. To be considered for this internship, you must possess excellent writing skills and be passionate about community, communications, and public policy. As in intern, your duties will include developing and implementing a Buy Local Shop Local public information campaign and creating other communication pieces as well as conducting policy analysis and research. The internship project involves research, writing, interviews and outreach to businesses and various organizations. Other project responsibilities will include drafting articles, policy research and analysis, and producing or updating web content. This internship is located in Santa Barbara, CA, and is a hybrid of in-person and remote work.
