African Community Center Intensive Case Management Internship

Description

The African Community Center Intensive Case Management Internship is available to graduate students pursuing a degree in behavioral health services, social work, psychology, or a related field. To be considered for this internship, you should have an interest in working in a non-profit setting with refugees, be dependable, and possess excellent intercultural, organizational, and communication skills. Preference will be given to applicants who are bilingual in English and one of the following languages: Arabic, Kiswahili, Tigrinya, Dari, Spanish, etc. As an intern, you will use your experience in social work, psychology, or sociology to conduct case management activities for refugees with with challenging needs that require special attention, including those with serious medical conditions, women at risk, and elderly refugees. This internship is located in Denver, CO.
