The Costco IT Cybersecurity Internship-Email Security Internship is available to undergraduate and graduate students who have a minimum GPA of 3.0. To be considered for this internship, you should be enrolled in an IT program and understand email systems and troubleshooting mail flow. Additionally, you should possess excellent communication, organizational, time-management, and project management skills. Preference will be given to applicants who have working knowledge of mail flow in email platforms (like Exchange, Gmail, etc.) and troubleshooting mail flow related issues as well as to those who have familiarity with domain registration/management or have experience in a Costco warehouse, E-commerce or retail environment. As an intern, you will work with information systems custodians at different levels in the organization to understand their respective security needs and assist with implementing practices and procedures consistent with Costco’s Information Security Policy. You will also partner with other Information Security groups to conduct security assessments on new solutions and systems, periodic security risk assessments on existing systems and identify and/or recommend appropriate security countermeasures and best practices. This internship is located in Issaquah, WA, and runs for 12 weeks.
