Description

The Cleveland Guardians Baseball Information Internship is available to students with strong knowledge of baseball history, terminology, rules, and the Cleveland Guardians. To be considered for this internship, you should have previous exposure to sports information and sports research, have proficiency in Microsoft Office, and possess an advanced comprehension of environmental factors impacting news/social media today. As an intern, you will support Guardians Communications teammates with a variety of responsibilities at Progressive Field throughout Spring Training and the duration of the season, including those related to the production of sports information materials (media guide, game notes, minor league report, season summary), content creation (for use across social media platforms, Guards Post blog, and in collaboration with other department initiatives across org.), broadcasting, player relations/activation, media services, and the fulfillment of media credential requests. This internship is located in Cleveland, OH, and runs until the end of baseball season.
