Trupanion Actuarial Summer Internship-Remote

Description

The Trupanion Actuarial Summer Internship is available to students pursuing a degree in Actuarial Science, Math, Statistics, or a related field. To be considered for this internship, you should be proficient in Microsoft Office, be detail-oriented, have SQL experience, and possess excellent communication and presentation skills. Preference will be given to students who have completed one or more actuarial exams. As an intern, you will assist in gathering and manipulating data, performing calculations, and producing reports as well as learn different actuarial techniques in pricing, predictive modeling, and analysis. You will create tools and reports for validation, competitive analysis, tracking, auditing, reserving, and pricing. You will also maintain/improve reporting processes and procedures and will present a final project to the VP of Actuarial Services and other members of the Business Intelligence and Actuarial teams. This internship is offered remotely during the summer semester.
