Genesis Women's Shelter and Support - Clinical Internship

The Genesis Women's Shelter and Support - Clinical Internship is available to students who are enrolled in an accredited graduate program for Social Work, Counseling, or Marriage and Family Therapy. To be considered for this internship, you should have completed your short practicum placement. Preference will be given to bilingual candidates and to those who have play therapy class experience. As an intern, you will provide individual counseling for women, complete intakes, co-facilitate at least two groups, update records, compile statistics, complete 20 hours of training to be covered for the Privilege Law, and participate in weekly clinical staff meetings and trainings. You will also present a client case presentation at the beginning of the second semester of internship during clinical team meeting. This internship is offered in Dallas, TX.
