Description
The Carbon Mapper Remote Summer Internship is available to undergraduate students who are studying engineering, remote sensing, geography, atmospheric science, or related fields. To be considered for this internship, you should have experience using Geographic Information Systems (GIS), posses strong communication skills, and have scientific programming skills (e.g., R, Python, MATLAB). As an intern, you will conduct research on imaging spectroscopy, including but not limited to running sensitivity tests on retrieval algorithms, performing quality control on airborne and satellite data, and performing data analyses. Interns are eligible for sick time and participation in the company’s 401k plan. This internship is offered remotely and runs for eight-twelve weeks during the summer.
