Spirit Airlines Avionics and Systems Engineering Co-Op is available to undergraduate and graduate students who are majoring in aeronautical, aerospace, or mechanical engineering. To be considered for this internship, you should have a minimum GPA of 2.5, be self-motivated and detail-oriented, proficient in Microsoft Office, and possess excellent communication, presentation, writing, and problem-solving skills. As an intern, you will undertake engineering projects, provide technical input, and assist with the day-to-day needs of the airline. You will be exposed to a variety of aspects of Avionics and Systems Engineering, including Aircraft Performance and Reliability, component Shop Visits, Vendor Maintenance Manuals, Troubleshooting and Root-Cause Analysis, Technical Document interpretation as well as Technical Writing, and other areas as deemed appropriate. This internship is offered in Miramar, FL.
