The Hudson Pride Center Outreach Internship is available to students interested in learning about LGBTQ+ issues and non profit work. Hudson Pride Center is a home and a voice to the diverse LGBTQ+ community of Hudson County whose mission is to enhance the lives of LGBTQ+ people by creating a safe physical and virtual home, social services, and programs that meet the ongoing needs, and to build trust with each and every person that seeks help. As an intern, you will work under the direct supervision of the executive director and director of programs. Specifically, you will conduct in-person and virtual outreach at events, work with staff to bring in prospective clients, perform research, provide support to clients, and conduct intakes on new clients. This three - six week internship is offered in Jersey City, NJ, as a hybrid of in-person and remote work.
