CSX Civil Engineering Internship

Description

The CSX Civil Engineering Internship is available to undergraduate and graduate students who are majoring in civil engineering or a related field. To be considered for this internship, you should have a minimum GPA of 3.0 and be at least 18 years of age. Additionally, you should have strong knowledge of engineering principles and project management, be proficient in Microsoft Office, and possess excellent analytical, communication, customer service, and problem solving skills. As an intern, you will provide engineering review and approval of public/private utility facility design and construction plans, serve as the principle contact for engineering approval and project management for utility facilities within the assigned portfolio, ensure the safety and protection of railroad assets throughout the full life cycle (i.e. engineering, construction, maintenance) of the project and facility occupancy, and develop and maintain relationships with public/private utility agencies in support of engineering standards compliance, contract compliance, and established safety policies. This internship is offered in Jacksonville, FL.
