Passaic County Planning and Economic Development Internship-PAID

Description

The Passaic County Planning and Economic Development Internship is available to students in New Jersey who are studying planning or a related field. To be considered for this internship, you should have familiarity with topics such as transportation planning, bicycle and pedestrian planning, complete streets, sustainability and green infrastructure, historic preservation, and economic development. As an intern, you will assist the planning staff with several ongoing programs and technical studies including the County’s Complete Streets Implementation Program, the County’s Strategic Infrastructure Investment Plan, Open Space grant program, and several bike and pedestrian implementation projects. You will also assist with the North Jersey Transportation Planning Authority (NJTPA) grants and ongoing transportation planning activities associated with the annual Subregional Transportation Planning (STP) program. This internship is offered in Paterson, NJ, during the summer.
