BAE Systems Facilities Technical HS Plumbing Internship-PAID

Description

The BAE Systems Facilities Technical HS Plumbing Internship is available to rising junior high school students who are enrolled in a high school level plumbing/pipefitting or mechanical-type program. To be considered for this internship, you should have a minimum GPA of 3.0, be a U.S. citizen, have an understanding of infrastructure and utilities, be proficient in Microsoft Office, and possess excellent leadership skills. As an intern, you will perform a variety of complex plumbing and pipefitting duties including installations, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance. Specifically, you will install and maintain fire protection, process chemical, waste treatment, process steam heat, vacuum, potable water, hydronics, cooling, deionized water, compressed air, process and high purity gases, domestic and process waste and cryogenics. You will also work with a variety of materials consisting of but not limited to: PVC, CPVC, polypropylene, PVDF, Teflon, steel (standard, stainless, galvanized, welded, victaulic) copper (brazed and soldered, victaulic) fiberglass, etc. This internship is offered in Nashua, NH.
