Description

The Envision Energy Structural Blade Design Internship is available to graduate students and to exceptional junior-level and above undergraduate students who are majoring in engineering, physics, applied mathematics, computer science, or a similar field. To be considered for this opportunity, you should possess strong programming skills, enjoy applying creativity in solving technical issues, be self-motivated, and communicate effectively. Additionally, you should have an interest in renewable energy, composite structures, aeroelasticity, finite element modeling, numerical optimization and computer programming. As an intern, your duties may include: blade design support and associated tool development, finite element tool development with a focus on sub-modeling, and the development, implementation, and validation of composite failure mechanics modeling.
