SHE WORKS Career Readiness and Internship Program-PAID

Description

The SHE WORKS Career Readiness and Internship Program is available to diverse female undergraduate students. To be considered for this program, you must be able to virtually attend career-readiness workshops, work at least 100 hours during the summer, and submit a final report and presentation to LiveGirl at the end of the internship. SHE WORKS equips diverse, young women with career-readiness skills and connects them with internships at companies that demonstrate female leadership. Companies include AXA XL, Bankwell, Boeing, Northwestern Mutual, Stone Point Capital, The Office of Lt. Governor Susan Bysiewicz, Pitney Bowes, nonprofits, among others. Internships may be offered in-person, remotely, or as a hybrid. As an intern, you will be assigned a mentor to provide day-to-day support and a project champion to provide project deliverables and ultimate project ownership. You will gain skills such as resume-building/writing, interviewing, networking, public speaking, and access to career development tools.
