The Natural History Museum of Utah Internship is available to undergraduate and graduate students at the University of Utah who are interested in gaining museum and non-profit experience. Applicants from diverse backgrounds and academic disciplines are encouraged to apply. To be considered for an internship, you should have excellent written and verbal communication skills, the ability to work both independently and collaboratively with staff members, and be highly organized, self-motivated, reliable, and resourceful. Internships are offered in anthropology/archaeology, botany, entomology, paleontology, vertebrate zoology, museum collection care, programs and experiences for public and K-12 visitors, exhibition design and creation, public relations/media/communications, marketing, visual/graphic design, information technology, non-profit business management, organizational staff/volunteer management, philanthropy/membership/fundraising, and facility care and maintenance.
