Description

The City of Fort Collins Education Internship is available to undergraduate students who are majoring in education or have one-two years of experience working in the education field. To be considered for this position, you should should be interested or passionate about teaching the community about food, plants, butterflies and their local ecosystems. You should be self-motivated, creative, enthusiastic, able to work independently and as part of a team, and be able to work with children and the public in a professional manner. As an intern, you will support a diversity of informal education programming for pre-k through adult learners in topics ranging from gardening, STEM, earth science, arts, crafts, cooking and wellness at the Gardens on Spring Creek, the community botanical garden of Fort Collins, Colorado.
