Description

The Lubrizol Corporation Data Scientist / Statistician Internship is available to undergraduate and graduate students who are majoring in statistics, data analytics, machine learning, or similar fields. To be considered for this role, you should possess excellent programming skills, have experience with advanced statistical software such as R or Python, have exposure to database systems and the ability to efficiently manipulate complex data, be curious and creative, and be a strong problem solver. As an intern, you will create predictive models by mining complex data for critical formulating or testing insights, implement and assess algorithms in R, Python, SAS, JMP or C#/C++, and collaborate with data science team, as well as, scientists and engineers, to understand their needs, and find creative solutions to meet those needs.
