Financial Reporting & Accounting Internship

Description

The Financial Reporting & Accounting Internship is open to undergraduate students who are currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. You must demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong attention to detail and analytical skills, basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting, be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and be an eager and self-motivated individual with a curiosity for accounting and financial reporting. Intern duties may include: assist in the monthly reconciliation of accounts, support the team in the preparation of both internal and external financial statements in a timely and accurate manner, assist in the preparation of complex and routine journal entries during month end close, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards, collaborate with the team on special projects, taking on assigned accounting work as directed and other duties as necessary.
