Description

The Lockheed Martin Artificial Intelligence (AI) Internship is available to undergraduate students who are pursuing a degree in computer science, systems engineering, electrical engineering, telecommunications, computer engineering and information, sciences and technology, or STEM-related degree from an accredited college. To be considered for this role, you should have demonstrated potential to work in a team environment and be able to obtain a security clearance. Preference will be given to applicants who have prior coursework in computer science/data science/and/or machine learning, beginner experience with Python/Cuda/DevSecOps, and possess strong written and verbal communication skills. Key responsibilities as an intern include: creative ML work, software development & containerization, display & database integration, high performance compute environments, partnering with the peer engineering organizations and chief engineer offices, customer focused work and deployment to the edge, while working with a close knit team. This role is based on Manassas, VA; Colorado Springs, CO; Moorestown, PA; or Syracuse, NY, with telecommuting flexibility depending on program needs.
