The State Farm Insurance Property and Casualty Claims Internship is available to sophomore, junior, and senior-level students who are majoring in business, risk management/insurance, psychology, criminal justice, and related fields. To be considered for this role, you should possess solid teamwork, critical thinking, decision making, and communication skills. As an intern, you will learn claim handling processes such as investigation, evaluation, negotiation, and policy application. You will also receive mentorship and work side-by-side with the claims teams as they review medical, property, liability and injury related issues in claim handling interacting with witnesses, agents, other insurance companies, repair shops, contractors, medical providers, attorneys.
