Description

The NASA Space Suit and Crew Survival Internship is available to sophomore-level and above students who are studying engineering, textile sciences, and related areas. You must be a U.S. Citizen to be eligible for this role. As an intern, you will focus on one of three teams: Crew Survival Team, where you will learn about and contribute to work supporting Artemis Orion or Human Landing System space suits and supporting equipment worn during launch and landing; Space Suit Pressure Garment Technology team, where you will learn about work required to design, develop, and test extra-vehicular activity (EVA) pressure garments for future spaceflight missions; or Space Suit Portable Life Support System (PLSS) team, where you will learn about and contribute to work required to design, model, test, and analyze space suit life support systems for future spaceflight missions. This internship is offered in Houston, TX, during the fall.
