BlackSky Geospatial Analysis Internship-PAID

Description

The BlackSky Geospatial Analysis Internship is available to rising junior, senior or graduate students studying computer science, geography, intelligence analysis, or other relevant fields. To be considered for this role, you should have experience with Python, geospatial and/or imagery analysis programs (QGIS, ESRI Suite, SOCET GXP, ENVI, or ERDAS Imagine), and possess an understanding of geospatial data formats, coordinate systems, and management practices. As an intern, you will work with geospatial analysts, software engineers, and data scientists on projects, and report to the staff geospatial analyst. You will work with the team to generate analytic products highlighting BlackSky capabilities, develop new products/capabilities incorporating a variety of other data, and manage/query/update geospatial datasets used across multiple projects. This internship is offered in Herndon, VA.
