Herpetology Internship - National Aquarium in Baltimore

Description

The Herpetology Internship is available at the National Aquarium in Baltimore. You must be interested in assisting with the daily care of the Aquarium's reptiles, amphibians and associated invertebrates. You will prepare diets and feed the animals, clean and monitor on- and off-exhibit animals and assist in the maintenance of live food cultures. Other special projects may be determined by the staff. To qualify, you must be enrolled in an accredited college pursuing a degree in biology, zoology, animal behavior, ecology, environmental science or a related field. You must also be comfortable working with frogs, lizards, fish, rodents, crickets and other terrestrial arthropods.
