Description
The Ned McWherter Scholars Program is available to graduating high school seniors who are residents of Tennessee and plan to enroll in a Tennessee institution of higher learning. You must have a minimum 3.5 GPA and have an ACT or SAT score in the top 5 percent nationally. Half of the award is from the state and must be matched on a 1:1 basis by the college or university that you attend. U.S. citizenship is also required.
