James B. Creel Humanitarian Award

Description

The James B. Creel Humanitarian Award is available to full-time students at California State University, Sacramento. You must have a career interest in public service and be majoring in humanities or social science. Also, you must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 and financial need. Entering freshmen may apply but must be a graduate of a Sacramento high school. All applicants must submit a three- to five-page typewritten statement discussing your personal background, professional objectives and how you think your goals relate to this scholarship. Also, three letters of recommendation are required.
