The Dr. K. Narayan Kutty Endowed Scholarship is available to upperclassmen students who represent specific backgrounds at Eastern Connecticut State University. You must represent specific backgrounds or academic interests, have financial need and minimum GPA of 3.0 to be eligible for this award. he four specific categories are an Asian, Native American, African, native Australian of Aboriginal heritage, Middle Eastern or Israeli female; a Puerto Rican female or male student in good academic standing majoring in English, History, Economics, Environmental Studies, or Biology; an African American student majoring in Government and Public Policy, Economics, History or Environmental Earth Science; and a female student majoring in English and with a strong interest in Women’s Studies.
