Description

The Merck & Co., Inc. Summer Intern - Animal Service Department is available to students with two years of studies towards a Bachelor’s degree in animal science, agribusiness, agriscience, agrieconomics, veterinary school, or animal health related discipline, by June 2017. You must be able to learn to support R&D personnel by performing technical procedures on animals (blood sampling, necropsy/tissue collection and assist with administering animal medication and/or vaccine) to be considered for this position. As an intern, you will provide animal husbandry, health and welfare for cattle, swine, horses, dogs and lab animals, i.e., feed, water, temperature, sanitization and socialization.
