Out And Proud LGBTQIA+ Scholarship

Description

The Out And Proud LGBTQIA+ Scholarship is available to students at Florida International University who identify as LGBTQIA+. You must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 and be actively involved in the FIU LGBTQIA+ community to be eligible for this award. Selection is based on academic merit, leadership, service, and a 500-word essay on how the scholarship would further your current and future goals. Preference will be given to applicants who have lost the social support of their families and/or communities as a result of revealing their sexual orientation, gender identity, or gender expression.
