Newland and Newland Single Parent Scholarship

Description

The Newland and Newland Single Parent Scholarship is available to single parents who are pursuing a degree in law (paralegal, legal assistant, or pre-law program) at an accredited college, university, or law school. You must be a U.S. citizen/permanent resident and have a minimum GPA of 2.0 to be eligible for this award. Selection is based on a 500-1,000-word essay on the following topic: "How has the experience of being a single parent or the child of a single parent influenced your educational and career goals? How do you plan to achieve those goals?".
