Joseph and Chang Morozumi Scholarship

Description

The Joseph and Chang Morozumi Scholarship is available to first- and second-year law students attending schools within the San Francisco Bay Area who have demonstrated a commitment to public interest law, especially low-income, direct legal services. Selection criteria include past, present and future community service or public interest work for the Asian Pacific American (APA) community or other underrepresented communities; demonstrated leadership in the APA community; demonstrated financial need; and past, present and future commitment to the Bay Area. Recipients must agree to attend the AABA Summer Diversity Reception in San Francisco, become a law student member of AABA, and become a lawyer member of AABA upon graduation from law school.
