Kieth and Serena Cockrell Scholarship

Description

The Kieth and Serena Cockrell Scholarship is available to high school senior students graduating from any public, private, or charter high school in Mecklenburg County, Union County, or Cabarrus County, NC. To be considered for this award, you must have a minimum GPA of 2.5, complete the FAFSA, demonstrate financial need, and plan to enroll in any U.S. located, accredited, four-year college or university. Selection is based on a letter of recommendation from a non-family member and a 500-word personal statement responding to the following prompt: “Please discuss your future goals and aspirations, as well as why you will benefit from receiving the scholarship".
