The Wisconsin Medical Society Presidential Scholar Award is available to full - time, fourth - year medical students at Wisconsin medical schools. You must be a U.S. citizen and permanent resident of Wisconsin, show active involvement with the Wisconsin Medical Society or a county medical society, and submit a letter of recommendation from a Wisconsin Medical Society member to be eligible for this award. Preference is given to students who show strong interest in practicing in Wisconsin, especially in areas of need.
