The Weldon Hall, Jr. Endowment in English Scholarship is available to entering freshmen and transfer students majoring in English at Sam Houston State University. Freshmen must have a minimum 3.3 GPA, graduate in the top 10 percent of your high school class and have an ACT English score of at least 26. Transfer students must have a minimum 3.3 GPA to be eligible for this award.
