Mildred Colodny Diversity Scholarship
National Trust for Historic Preservation
The Mildred Colodny Diversity Scholarship is available to students in their final year of undergraduate study who intend to enroll in a graduate program and currently-enrolled graduate students pursuing careers in historic preservation. You must be a student of color enrolled in a historic preservation program or a similar graduate program in departments of history, architecture, American studies, urban planning, museum studies, etc. Selection will also be based on financial need, academic performance, promise shown for future achievement, and commitment to working in preservation. Two letters of recommendation are also required. This award includes up to $15,000 towards graduate school tuition, a $5,000 stipend for a summer internship with the National Trust, and up to $1,500 toward attendance at a National Preservation Conference.
