Find the 2025-2026 Financial Aid and FAFSA State Deadlines HERE!
It’s official: the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) will be launched by December 31, 2023. During a typical year, the FAFSA is released on October 1; however,
the FAFSA has undergone a series of changes to simplify the form.
Though the federal deadline will be June 30, 2025, each state has its own deadline. This is because
many states award financial aid on a first-come, first-serve basis. In that case, students should complete the FAFSA 2024-25 as soon as it becomes available.
See your state’s FAFSA deadline below for further guidance.
