Monster cited a Deloitte report that predicts consumer spending will be up by 1 – 1.5% and online retail will see an increase of about 35%. Retail stores will have to pivot to meet the demand of their online sales as well as provide a safe shopping experience in light of the Coronavirus pandemic -- we may require more creative holiday jobs like temperature takers, mask enforcers, and curbside workers.

Monster has put together a list of employers that are already hiring for the holidays. If you’re considering
seasonal work at the end of this year, now is the time to start applying.
