We're Looking for Student Writers!
Would you like to become one of Fastweb's student contributors? Here's your chance!
We're calling all students interested in journalism, English, communications, and related fields. Fastweb may be the scholarship, financial aid, and college admissions expert, but you'll provide the student perspective!
You’ve got the voice, and we're looking for students of all ages, from high school to graduate school and everything in between, to write for us.
More specifically, we’re looking for students:
• Interested in writing, journalism, communications, and related fields
• Currently in high school, trade or vocational school, college, graduate school (non-traditional students, too!)
• Willing to submit one writing assignment monthly contribution over the 2024-2025 academic year (September 2024 through May 2025)
This limited, work-from-home position provides a stellar experience (think college admissions essays, your portfolio, resume, future job search, etc.). You’ll boost your writing skills, familiarize yourself with web publishing and processes, and get creative. Here’s the biggie: EXPOSURE. Your work will reach more than 9 million Fastweb members!
While the Fastweb Student Contributor is not a paid position, it's a great way to gain writing skills, familiarity with the web publishing process, and exposure. Can you imagine the impact this could have on your resume and future job search?!
Our student writers love what they do so much, most return as writers throughout each year of college! The position is limited. This is not a paid position and you’ll be expected to create at least one writing piece monthly.
