Whataburger's $600K Scholarship Program is Now Open
What a scholarship opportunity!
Whataburger not only builds iconic burgers, but they also help to build students’ futures. In partnership with Dr Pepper, the $600,000 Whataburger Feeding Student Success Scholarship Program will provide 120 students with $5,000 scholarships. Jump to Whataburger ‘s Feeding Student Success Scholarship Details Students can apply for the Whataburger Feeding Student Success Scholarship from December 2024 through February 14, 2025, or until 1,000 applications are reached, whichever comes first!
This award is not just a college scholarship or merit scholarship opportunity. The Whataburger Scholarship is open to vocational school students, too! The $5,000 scholarship can be used to pay for tuition, fees, books, supplies, and/or housing. “Support and funding shouldn’t be a barrier to any student’s success,” said Whataburger Community Relations Manager, Allie Watters. “We want students to know Whataburger is in their corner. These scholarships will help students across the nation build the futures of their dreams.”

About the Whataburger Scholarship

The Whataburger Feeding Student Success Program includes a scholarship, open to students in the brand’s 14-state footprint. These states include:
• Alabama • Arizona • Arkansas
• Colorado • Florida • Georgia • Kansas • Louisiana • Mississippi • Missouri • New Mexico • Oklahoma • Tennessee • Texas In addition to scholarship funds, the fast-food brand’s Whataburger Feeding Student Success campaign also provides two additional resources for students pursuing education after high school. College Resource Rooms – These rooms provide students with food and essentials for college students. The five Whataburger College Resource Rooms are located at the following universities: San Antonio College Metropolitan Community College-Penn Valley Phoenix College Alabama State University University of Texas at San Antonio Community Support – Whataburger supports education by giving back within the communities it serves. Community support includes events like providing free food for HBCU students via the Whataburger Food Truck , supporting teachers during National Teacher Week, and more.
