The Pepsi Stronger Together Scholarship Contest is available to high school seniors who are interested in pursuing a career in the arts. The Localicious Recipe Contest is open to high school students in Hawaii. To enter, you must submit an original recipe using a locally - grown, raised, or caught product. James Alan Cox Foundation Scholarship

The James Alan Cox Foundation Scholarship is available to students who have taken courses in photography or photojournalism. To be considered, you must submit a portfolio and a maximum 250 - word essay discussing your interest in photography and photojournalism. Also, you must have completed one year at a recognized college, university, or professional school; and have at least one semester of school remaining at time of award. Deadline: 11/15/22

The Illustrators of the Future Contest is open to new science fiction and fantasy artists. To be considered, you must submit three illustrations in a color or black - and - white medium created from your imagination. Each illustration must represent a subject different from the other two. East Rock Films Essay Contest

The East Rock Films Essay Contest is open to high school juniors and seniors and college freshman and sophomores in the U.S. and Canada. To be considered for this award, you must be pursuing studies in the arts, humanities, or social sciences. Additionally, you must submit an essay describing a particular work of art that "speaks to you." This could be, but is not limited to, a novel, poem, painting, sculpture, musical composition, song, dance, film, play, short story, nonfiction book, or documentary. Deadline: 1/15/23

John F. and Anna Lee Stacey Scholarship Fund

The John F. and Anna Lee Stacey Scholarship Fund is available to students between the ages of 18 and 35 who are pursuing a career in art. The purpose of the scholarship is to foster high standard in the study of form, color, drawing, painting, design, and technique, as these are expressed in modes showing patent affinity with the classical tradition of western culture. Create-A-Greeting Card Scholarship Contest

The Create-A-Greeting Card Scholarship Contest is open to currently enrolled high school and college students in the United States. To enter, you must design a holiday, get well, anniversary or birthday greeting card and submit your work to be judged. Your photo, art, or graphics submitted must be your own original work and you must be at least 14 years of age to be eligible for this award. Deadline: 3/2/23

Walgreens Expressions Challenge

The Walgreens Expressions Challenge is available to high school students between the ages of 13 and 18. To be considered, you must use your creativity to share how you feel about what is happening in your world through spoken word, visual arts, media arts or creative writing. Deadline: 3/31/23
Award Amount: $2,000

One Earth Young Filmmakers Contest

The One Earth Young Filmmakers Contest is open to students who are no more than 25 years of age. You must submit a video between three and eight minutes that shares and highlights solutions to the issues discussed in the chosen sustainability topic(s) chosen from the list on the sponsor's website. The film entry's theme must be solution - based. The film should talk about an environmental / sustainability problem and then discuss what could be a potential solution to this problem. Videos may be submitted by either an individual or a group and animated videos of no more than 45 seconds will also be considered. Deadline: 6/25/23
